The Kansas University volleyball team lost 34-32, 33-31, 30-28 to the University of Texas on Saturday at Gregory Gym.

Sarah Rome had 15 kills and Josiane Lima had 12 for the Jayhawks, who couldn’t overcome the powerful Longhorns.

Rome added 11 digs, and Jill Dorsey had 10.

The Jayhawks next contest comes against Iowa State at 7 p.m. Thursday at Horejsi Center.
