Michael ‘Yogi’ James Davis

Memorial services for Michael “Yogi” James Davis, 44, Topeka, will be at 2 p.m. today at Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church.

Mr. Davis died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at his home. He was cremated.

He was born Oct. 22, 1957, in Lawrence, the son of Everest and Hazel (McCracken) Davis.

Mr. Davis was a custodian for most of his life.

Survivors include a daughter, Rachel Bachman Cullison, Lawrence, a sister, Jamie Henness, California, his maternal grandmother, Plumer Lea McCracken, Wellsville; and two grandsons.

Newcomer Funeral Home, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
