He was born Nov. 11, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of George and Isabella (Newby) Pflaum. He moved to DeSoto two years ago from Monrovia, Calif.

Mr. Pflaum was a mechanic.

He married Dorothy Rejmontowski. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Dennis, DeSoto, George Jr., Leavenworth, and James, Cedar City, Utah; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, DeSoto.

The family suggests memorials, for a charity to be designated later, sent in care of the chapel, P.O. Box 101, DeSoto 66018.
