She was born May 15, 1933, in Admire, the daughter of James and Esther (Brown) Stewart. She grew up and attended school in Oskaloosa.

A homemaker, she married Jackie Edward Bryant on July 25, 1969, in Oskaloosa. He died Sept. 26, 1997.

Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Willis, Eudora, Kaye Vervynck, Orange Park, Fla., and Roberta Lynn, Lawrence; two brothers, Gene Stewart, San Diego, and Alan Lindsey, North Platte, Neb.; two sisters, Darlene Berry, Kansas City, Kan., and Pauline Bench, California; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home, where family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
