Prosser services

Memorial services for Nancy Baugh Prosser, 73, Lawrence, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Plymouth Congregational Church.

Mrs. Prosser died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at her home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Wichita, the daughter of Walter S. Baugh and Bertha (Ottman) Baugh.

Mrs. Prosser earned a bachelor’s degree from Wichita University in 1951 and worked as a legal secretary in law offices in Lawrence.

She had lived in Lawrence from 1952 to 1955 and moved back to Lawrence in 1957.

Mrs. Prosser was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. She also was a member of the Ladies Literary League, University Women’s Club and Endacott Society for Kansas University retirees.

She married Francis Prosser on May 31, 1952, in Wichita. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, David Prosser, Gillette, N.J.; two daughters, Rebecca Prosser, Knoxville, Tenn., and Martha McCarter, Overland Park; a brother, David S. Baugh, Dallas; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to the Nancy Prosser Memorial Fund at the church, sent in care of the church or Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
