Harvard Law School dean to step down

Harvard Law School Dean Robert C. Clark, who presided over a major reorganization of the student body, said Monday he would step down at the end of the academic year.

Clark, a corporate law scholar and dean since 1989, said he planned to return to the school’s faculty after a sabbatical.

Harvard said in a press release that Clark’s departure at the end of the year marks a natural transition ahead of a new fund-raising drive.
