Dorothy Lillian Cox Corcoran

? Memorial Mass for Dorothy Lillian Cox Corcoran, 90, Raytown, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Harrisonville. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Corcoran died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.

She was born July 2, 1912, in Eudora, Kan., the daughter of Oscar L. and Lillian Ione (Rhodes) Cox. She attended Liberty Memorial High School in Lawrence, Kan.

Mrs. Corcoran was a homemaker. She was active in her church as a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Women’s Club. In 1987 she received the Bishop’s Award in appreciation for her contributions to the work of the church in the Kansas City-St. Joseph diocese.

She married William T. Corcoran on May 30, 1941. He survives of the home.

She also is survived by five sons, John Corcoran, Paul Corcoran, Tom Corcoran, Jim Corcoran and Mark Corcoran; four daughters, Ann Corcoran, Sue Anderson, Kay Roberts, and Jane Miscannon; and 25 grandchildren.

Two infant sons died earlier.

The family will receive friends at 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
