Political legacies
To the editor:
I see Phillip Terizan sneers at the Kennedy legacy because Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and a few others suffered election losses. As I recall, the only one of Reagan’s family who ever ran for office was his daughter, Maureen, and her only race was a 1982 Senate primary bid, which she lost. If the Kennedy political tradition is now over, does that mean the Gipper’s legacy never got started?
