Fran Johnson passed for 209 yards and a TD, helping Benedictine cruise to a 27-3 victory on Saturday.

Matt Fowler had seven catches for 151 yards and two touchdowns for Benedictine (9-2, 8-2 Heart of America), which finished the 2001 season ranked No. 4 in the NAIA.

Martin Updike led Baker (3-8, 3-7) with 135 yards passing, and Justin Cobb rushed for 52 yards on 13 carries. Treanor Conner had nine tackles for the Wildcats.
