KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? She was born Feb. 13, 1930, in Kingsdown, the daughter of Gary A. and Muriel Marie (Searle) Dobbs. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1948. She lived in Great Bend from 1948 to 1994, when she moved to Kansas City.

She married Wayne Dobbs on Aug. 20, 1948. He died in 1997.

Survivors include two daughters, Kala Patterson, Lawrence, and Karen Simpson, Annandale, N.J.; three sons, Gary Dobbs, Spring, Tex., Steven Dobbs, Overland Park, and Dallas Dobbs, Edmund, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.
