James Deering Dresser Jr.

Mr. Dresser died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, in Wichita.
He was born Aug. 6, 1922, in Piper, the son of James D. and Grace (Parisa) Dresser. He moved to Lawrence in 1926 and graduated from Liberty Memorial High School. He attended Kansas University.
Mr. Dresser served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Currituck. He later was a tool and die designer for Boeing Aircraft Co., Cessna and Beechcraft in Wichita.
He married Jean Bullock in 1951 in Glasco. She died earlier.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Rabalaise, Wichita; a brother, Calvin, St. Louis; a sister, Mary Burchill, Lawrence; and a granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Hospice, 1938 N. Woodlawn, Wichita 67208.
