Benedictine next for BU

? The Baker University football team will wind up its season with a 1:30 p.m. tilt today against Benedictine.

The Wildcats (3-7, 3-6) are trying to rebound from a 10-3 loss to Central Methodist last Saturday in their home finale. Baker led 3-2 before allowing a Central Methodist touchdown pass with 2:46 left.

To finish on a high note, Baker will have to beat a Benedictine squad that made the NAIA semifinals in 2001 and was ranked No. 4 in the postseason poll. This yearâÂÂs Ravens are 8-2, their only losses coming against MidAmerica Nazarene and William Jewell.

The bright spot for Baker may be that the Wildcats had a combined margin of defeat of 20 points against MidAmerica and William Jewell this season.
