The Eudora 4-H Club had its monthly meeting Nov. 4 in the basement of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Eudora. Ellen Heschmeyer told members about her past fair projects including two small flower arrangements. Justin Ballock also informed members of his past projects including his favorite, rocketry.
Members were reminded of the following dates: two dozen thank-you cookies due, Dec. 13; Eudora 4-H Christmas Party, Dec. 15; Friendship Night, Dec. 29.
The next meeting will be Dec. 2 at the Eudora Nursing Home. Club members will go Christmas caroling and will have a taco supper at St. Paul United Church of Christ.
- The Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club met Oct. 14. There were eight guests and one new member. The club voted for its Christmas service project to be Adopt a Family. Projects leaders had a display table to encourage 4-Hers to sign up for their projects during the meeting.
- The Stull Busy Beavers 4-H Club’s Nov. 11 meeting was called to order by Greg Gantz, president. Members handed in their project enrollment cards for the new 4-H year. Tickets for the Bromelsick Christmas Party were passed out to 4-Hers and their families. The club decided to bring items for the battered women’s shelter to the Dec. 9 meeting.
