Swing concert to benefit Habitat for Humanity

Lawrence will be hopping from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Swing Time and Coffee in the Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church, 946 Vt.

Lawrence Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring the concert, which will feature Clyde Bysom and the Jazzhaus 20-piece band as well as Don Mueller with Attune. Tickets are not required, although donations are accepted.

The 20-member Jazzhaus band has been in the community for the last 20 years and will perform songs from Glenn Miller, the Dorseys and others. Attune will feature singers Nancy Stephenson and Nancy Gibbens, as it has in the past, plus Danny Bristow from the LAZER morning show, who played a leading role in the âÂÂBallad of Black Jackâ at the Maple Leaf Festival in Baldwin.
