Wellsville ? He was born Sept. 30, 1948, in Torrence, Calif., the son of Marvin and Virginia (Robinson) Ferguson. He lived in the Wellsville area all his life and attended Wellsville High School.

Mr. Ferguson worked for Dennis Chevrolet in Olathe for more than 10 years and at Ellena car dealership in Lawrence for 12 years. He also worked for Hite Collision in Ottawa for five years and was recently employed at American Eagle in Ottawa. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Paola and a past member of Tri-County Motorcycle Club.

He married Charlotte Patton in 1968. They divorced in 1977. He later married Peggy Brown. They divorced in 1987.

Survivors include a son, Marvin, Wellsville; a daughter, Sherry Ferguson, Lane; two stepdaughters, Dawn Coopey, Ottawa, and Emily Lay, Kansas City; his mother, Wellsville; two sisters, Jeannie Whitt, Wellsville, and Donna Fenlaw, Big Sandy, Tex.; a granddaughter; and a stepgrandson.
