He was born April 17, 1914, in Denver, the son of August F. and Marie (Frederic) Ochs.
Mr. Ochs served in the U.S. Navy from April 1944 to May 1946. He was a self-employed chemist until his retirement in 1997.
He married Gertrude âÂÂTrudyâ Gruber. She died Sept. 7, 2002.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Evans, Lawrence, Kan.; two sons, Michael, Littleton, and Herbert Jr., Colorado; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Family will receive friends from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
