Web site commemorates Korean War anniversary

A new Internet site is dedicated to the Korean War and the service of veterans who fought there from 1950 to 1953.

The site is the work of the Adjutant General’s Department, Korean War Commemoration Partner Program Committee and accessKansas. It highlights the efforts of Kansans in the war and commemorates its 50th anniversary.

The site offers a variety of information about the war, including a war overview, photos and information about Kansas units called up during the war. Veterans tell firsthand stories, and people may submit their own war stories. The site is www.accesskansas.org/kskoreanwar.
