Work on a concrete box culvert Tuesday will close a small portion of North 1100 Road about five miles southeast of Lawrence.

The Wakarusa Township Road Department will replace the culvert in what is anticipated to be a six-hour job starting at 8 a.m., supervisor Tim McNish said.

The culvert is located just east of 1700 Road.
