Neill-Confer

Stephanie Neill and Kevin Confer were married May 11, 2002, at the Lane Museum Chapel in Lecompton with the Rev. Don Flanner officiating.

The bride’s parents are Craig and Sherri Neill, Lecompton. The groom’s parents are Gary Confer, Lecompton, and Pamela Confer, Perry.

Maid of honor was Lindsey Neill. Best man was Timothy Jipson. Bridesmaids were Melissa Confer, Jennifer Fugett and Sarah Hinrichsen. Groomsmen were Marvin Wiedeman, Anthony Thompson and Andrew Haney.

ReAnne Wiedeman was flower girl. Trevor Dark and Isaiah Dark were ring bearers. Andrea Haney was guest book attendant. Frances Sanford was pianist.

A reception followed at the Ramada Inn in Lawrence.

The bride is a 1999 Perry-Lecompton High School graduate. She is attends Washburn University School of Business. She is employed by Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store in Lawrence. The groom is a 1996 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School. He is employed by Hallmark Cards Inc. in Lawrence.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

MaHarry-Henderson

Jessica MaHarry and Patrick Henderson, both of Ojai, Calif., were married Oct. 20, 2002, on their property in Ojai, with Robert Whitmore officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robert MaHarry, Roanoke, Va., and Carol MaHarry, Ojai. The groom is the son of Conrad and Judith Henderson, Lawrence.

Attendants for the bride were her sisters Lindsay MaHarry, Jennifer MaHarry and Wendy MaHarry. Hannah Glodell was flower girl. Sky, the couple’s border collie, served as ring bearer. Darin Radcliffe was best man.

A reception and dance followed on the couple’s ranch.

The bride is a 1986 graduate of Honeyoye Falls High School, Mendon, N.Y. The groom graduated from Lawrence High School in 1986 and from Kansas University in 1994 with a degree in sculpture. Both attended Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio.
