? Baker UniversityâÂÂs football squad will play host to Central Methodist College at 1:30 p.m. today at Liston Stadium, the Wildcatsâ 2002 home finale.

Baker (3-6, 3-5 Heart of America Conference) is coming off a heartbreaking 35-32 loss last Saturday to Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Mo.

The loss last week came despite several Wildcats contributing solid offensive efforts. Junior quarterback Martin Updike threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns, and junior tight end Alpha Iscandari had six receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore running back Justin Cobb also had a solid day, running for 115 yards on just 20 carries and a TD.

Central Methodist, is 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the HAAC this season, the Eaglesâ best record since 1991. Central is coming off a mildly surprising victory, a 19-8 triumph last Saturday against Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla.

Baker finishes its season with a game against Benedictine at 1:30 p.m. next Saturday in Atchison.
