Harry William Will

? He was born July 10, 1914, on a farm near Herington, the son of Friebert and Sophia (Rohloff) Will. He graduated in 1933 from Herington High School and in 1935 from Salt City Business College in Hutchinson.

Mr. Will served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He began working for Campbell-Taggart Associated Bakeries at Betts Baking Co. in Hutchinson in 1935 as an accountant. He worked for the company for 42 years in Hutchinson; Muncie, Ind.; Jackson, Tenn.; and Memphis, Tenn. He retired as vice president of Colonial Baking Co. in 1977 in Memphis.

He was active at Immanuel Lutheran in Memphis and a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Manhattan. He was also a member of American Legion, Lutheran Laymen’s League, Manhattan Country Club and the Memphis Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.

He married Geraldine Irion on Sept. 16, 1940, in Hutchinson. She died Oct. 14.

Survivors include two daughters, Harriet Shaffer, Lawrence; and Janet Nuse, Fayette, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan.
