Mrs. Hurst died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at Wesley Specialty Hospital in Wichita.

She was born Feb. 10, 1916, in Lawrence, the daughter of William and Margery G. (Bowersock) Dalton.

She was a homemaker.

She married Thomas C. Hurst. He died July 22, 1978.

Survivors include a son, William D. Hurst, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Curtis Dalton, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita.
