Memphis, winless in four games this season, scored the first seven points in overtime. But turnovers and missed shots down the stretch allowed the Spurs to outscore the Grizzlies 7-0 over the final 1:03.

“We just couldn’t close the deal,” Memphis coach Sidney Lowe said. “I am hurt. They played so hard, and they deserved to win that ballgame. We executed down the stretch, but we just couldn’t hold on to it.”
