He was born March 14, 1948, in Ardmore, Okla., and had lived in Lawrence for the past 18 years. He was a software developer with Transpar Group and a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Linda L. York; two sons, Aaron Kent, Lawrence, and Eric Keith, Basehor; his mother, Vera Mae York; two brothers, Larry K. and Phillip E.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
