Lonnie Kent York

Services for Lonnie Kent York, 54, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Porter Funeral Home, Lenexa. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan.

Mr. Kent died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, at KU Med.

He was born March 14, 1948, in Ardmore, Okla., and had lived in Lawrence for the past 18 years. He was a software developer with Transpar Group and a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Linda L. York; two sons, Aaron Kent, Lawrence, and Eric Keith, Basehor; his mother, Vera Mae York; two brothers, Larry K. and Phillip E.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
