The October meeting of the Lone Star 4-H Club was at Wakarusa Valley School.

Members answered roll call by stating the eye color of the person sitting to their left.

The 2002-03 club officers were installed.

Details about officer training, the club’s fall party, the club budget and scholarships were discussed. Members participated in a quiz bowl for the project fair.

The next meeting will be the club achievement banquet Nov. 11 at the school.

Stull FCE will meet at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the home of Nancy Marshall.

The lesson topic will be a surprise.

The Stull Busy Beavers 4-H Club’s Oct. 14 meeting began with a pizza party to celebrate the end of another successful 4-H year.

The business meeting was called to order by Bart Solbach, vice president.

Election of officers was conducted. The newly elected officers will attend an officers training meeting Wednesday at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The elections were followed by a short achievement program.

Club members received prizes for different tasks they had completed during the year.

The club’s next meeting will be Nov. 14.
