Claud Longstreth

? He was born April 5, 1918, in Vernon County, Mo., the son of Fred Ray and Laura (Graves) Longstreth. He was raised in the Nevada area and attended Oak Grove School. He lived in Lawrence, Kan., from 1945 to 1972, when he moved to Pittsburg.

Mr. Longstreth served in the South Pacific with the U.S. Navy from April 1942 to October 1945. He owned and operated Longstreth Excavating in Lawrence. He then built Parkview Mobil Home Community in Pittsburg and managed it for 30 years.

He married Georgia G. Dodson on June 21, 1945, in Bentonville, Ark. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Jerry W., Lenexa, Kan.; a daughter, Ronda Hensley, Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
