Mclouth ? He was born March 30, 1942, in Topeka, the son of James C. and Meryle (Angel) Rogers. He grew up in rural McLouth and graduated from Winchester High School in 1960.

Mr. Rogers served in the Kansas National Guard from 1964 to 1968.

He married Linda Hans. She died earlier.

Survivors include two daughters, Ellen Rogers, Hoyt, and Tonya Rogers, Topeka; a son, Michael, Corpus Christi, Tex.; his mother, McLouth; a sister, Janice Hehn, McLouth; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to an organization of the donor’s choice.
