Hunter staying at Ohio

? Ohio forward Brandon Hunter withdrew his name from the NBA draft and will return to the Bobcats for his senior season.

Sports information director Derek Scott said Hunter made his decision Thursday after learning that he would have to miss one game next season for each appearance at a predraft camp in Chicago.

Hunter declared his early eligibility for the draft May 14. He did not forfeit the rest of his college eligibility because he did not hire an agent.

A two-time Mid-American Conference first-team selection, Hunter led the Bobcats in scoring and rebounding last season with averages of 17.3 points and 9.1 rebound per game. The draft is June 26 in New York.
