John Henry Schott
He was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Overbrook, the son of V. Hugo and Ethel (Whitman) Schott.
Mr. Schott worked at Stokely-Van Camp, Lawrence, for several years and then at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant, DeSoto, during World War II. He had also worked at farms in the Lawrence area.
He was a member of River Heights Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lawrence.
Survivors include three brothers, Raymond, Bill and Guido, all of Lawrence.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
