Baldwin sweeps Frontier League

? Matt Noonan won three events to help Baldwin cruise to the boys title in the Frontier League track championships on Thursday night.

Noonan, a Missouri University signee, won the 800, 1600 and 3200. Other Baldwin winners were Kansas University signee Eric Black in the 400, Arkansas University signee Eric Brown in the javelin and Hugh Murphy in the shot put.

Baldwin scored 131 points to 89 for runner-up Louisburg. Eudora finished seventh with 3712 points.

Baldwin also won the girls portion, but by a single point over Paola. Baldwin’s girls scored 92 points to the Panthers’ 91. Eudora finished ninth with 19 points.

Baldwin winners were Erica Ogle in the 3200 and Emily Brown in the javelin.
