Women Build, a branch of Habitat for Humanity, will begin building a home for a Lawrence single mother and her three children at 9 a.m. Saturday at 1809 Atherton Court.

After that, volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until the house is completed, probably in August. Habitat provides the tools and materials.

Women Build also wants to raise $25,000 to help pay for the house. Individuals or organizations can donate $50 per square foot or give money to buy a box of nails, window or door.
