Telitha M. Pummer

? Graveside services for Telitha M. “Granny Litha” Pummer, 98, rural McLouth, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oberlin City Cemetery.

Mrs. Pummer died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at the home of her granddaughter in rural McLouth.

She was born Dec. 3, 1903, in Worth, Mo., the daughter of Lewis C. and Lettie M. (Neal) Morrow. She had lived in the McLouth and Winchester area since 1991, moving from Fair Play, Mo. Prior to the move she had lived in Oberlin.

Mrs. Pummer was a homemaker and quilt maker.

She married Frank Adam Pummer on Feb. 20, 1925, in St. Francis. He died Aug. 17, 1973.

Survivors include three sons, Lyle Pummer, Stockton, Mo., Frank Pummer, San Antonio, and Gene Pummer, Wingo, Ky.; three daughters, Twila Baker, Philadelphia, Tenn., Paula Hunt, Fair Play, Mo., and Elaine Timm, Nickerson, Neb.; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.

A great-granddaughter died earlier.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
