The Vinland Valley 4-H Club met April 1 in the Vinland Elementary School gymnasium. The meeting was run backwards in honor of April Fools' Day.

The flag salute was led by Blake Shields. Kristyn Rhodes gave the current event. Members answered roll call by saying their name backwards. Members voted on the color and style of the club T-shirts. The club pledge and motto was led by Sara Shields.

It was announced that the club would have a concession stand at the Schmidt family auction on April 13.

The club decided to pay for a portion of members' 4-H camp expenses this summer.

Members of the Lone Star 4-H Club observed the meeting.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Vinland Elementary School's gymnasium. The junior officers will conduct the meeting.



Stull FCE will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Catherine Nichols. The lesson will be "Who Moved My Cheese."



India FCE will meet at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the home of Darlene Bright. Norma Leary will give the lesson, "Who Moved My Cheese."
