McGrady signs with Adidas

? Tracy McGrady is now an Adidas man for life.

The Orlando Magic standout re-signed with the German sports apparel company and will receive royalties from every pair of shoes and sports clothing sold under his name for the rest of his life.

“I’m happy Adidas has the confidence in me as a basketball player and as a person to make a commitment like this,” said the 22-year-old McGrady, who was chosen for the All-NBA first team Wednesday.

Financial terms of the endorsement deal weren’t released. His original deal with Adidas for six years and $12 million was scheduled to expire in December.

Earlier this year, Adidas introduced the T-Mac, its first signature McGrady basketball shoe, and it became the company’s best-selling shoe in six years.
