Earl Luke Kueser

Eudora Memorial services for Earl Luke Kueser, 83, Eudora, formerly of DeSoto, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Eudora. Inurnment will be in DeSoto Cemetery.

Mr. Kueser died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Anderson County, the son of Frank and Gertrude (Hermreck) Kueser.

Mr. Kueser served in the U.S. Army during World War II, attaining the rank of captain. He was a control operator for Co-op nitrogen plant, Lawrence, for more than 15 years, retiring in 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Ann Tyler, DeSoto; four brothers, Harold and Ralph, both of Louisburg, Alfred, Kansas City, Mo., and Francis, Williamsburg, Va.; four sisters, LaVerne Whittman and Irene Whittman, both of Garnett, Theresa Schermerhorn, Gaithersburg, Md., and Marie Robertson, Richmond; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
