Shelter sense

Why should we not care for those who have no home to spend the night? Why should we not provide a year-round place for persons to have a night’s rest?

For just $60,000 we can keep the Salvation Army shelter open this year for the summer months. The Salvation Army staff can continue to counsel with those staying at the shelter, helping them become independent and calling persons to accountability. This is the step we can take toward a goal to build a new and adequate year-round shelter with help designed to nurture persons toward sustained self sufficiency.

For less than a dollar per person, our population of 80,000 can raise the $60,000.

IT JUST MAKES SENSE!
