Johnson City, N.Y. ? He retired from GAF after 30 years. He was a basketball coach and was active in Johnson City Little League. He was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Binghampton, N.Y.

He married Louise Werts. She died earlier.

Survivors include two sons, Bill, Largo, Fla., and Bob, Lawrence, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
