Charles N. Werts

Johnson City, N.Y. ? Services for Charles N. Werts, 94, Vestal, N.Y., will be at 10 a.m. today at Barber Memorial Home, Johnson City, N.Y. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.

Mr. Werts died Monday, March 11, 2002, at his son’s home in Largo, Fla. He had lived in Vestal since 1940, when he moved there from Altoona, Pa.

He retired from GAF after 30 years. He was a basketball coach and was active in Johnson City Little League. He was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Binghampton, N.Y.

He married Louise Werts. She died earlier.

Survivors include two sons, Bill, Largo, Fla., and Bob, Lawrence, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
