Cosmosphere sessions seek participants

? Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center’s 2002 spring and summer Overnight Space Adventures have opened registration for students.

During the program, available to Kansas fourth- through sixth-graders, participants build and launch super paper rockets, learn about constellations using the Cosmosphere’s telescopes, work in teams to build a robot and go on a midnight scavenger hunt through the Hall of Space Museum. Students will sleep at the Cosmosphere.

Sessions run from 6 p.m. Friday and end with a light breakfast Saturday morning.

Cost is $50. Registration is being accepted for the April 29, June 21 and July 5 sessions.
