Sad state

Fine arts, gifted, nursing, counseling and all other programs that help in development and aid in the future are experiencing criticism due mainly to unnecessary prioritizing. It should not be coming to the point that the school board has to cut teachers, programs and activities merely because state funding is improperly allocated and generated. The Kansas Legislature should be ashamed that they are not funding the most vital and essential program in the state of Kansas.
