He was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., the son of Edmond E. and Marjorie L. (Dunlap) Redford.

He owned Animal Crackers Feed Store, Kansas City, Kan.

He was a member of MENSA and vice president of Hotel Corporation of America, Topeka.

Mr. Redford married Karen Viner on Oct. 30, 1992, in Topeka. She survives of the home.

Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Lynn Coffey, Atlanta; two stepdaughters, Christy Rieschick, Littleton, Colo., and Jenni Reimer, Topeka; a brother, David Redmond, Carlsbad, N.M.; a sister, Barbara Christian, Tulsa, Okla., and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
