A 49-year-old Wichita man reported that a $2,500 Dell laptop computer, a $200 Palm Pilot and a $100 green canvas briefcase were taken from his car while it was parked in a city lot in the 800 block of New Hampshire Street. The theft occurred between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday.

 Three antique gold rings valued at $3,000 and $90 in other items were taken between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Thursday from a house on the 3000 block of Steven Drive. The victim is a 62-year-old Lawrence woman.
