 Proclaim March 17 as the city of Lawrence’s “15th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade” day.

Consent agenda:

 Review and approve minutes of various boards and commissions: Health Department Air Quality Advisory Committee meeting of Jan. 16; Housing Authority Board meeting of Jan. 22.

 Approve all claims.

 Approve appointments recommended by the mayor.

Bid and purchase items:

 Award bid for the installation of a fire sprinkler system at Fire Station No. 4 to the low bidder, Jayhawk Fire Sprinkler Co. Inc., for $23,278.

 Award bid for one front-load refuse truck for the Public Works Department, to the low bidder, American Equipment, for $112,284.

 Award bid for one hook-lift refuse truck for the Public Works Department to Roy Conley & Co. for $58,108.

 Award bid for four rear-load refuse trucks for the Public Works Department to Roy Conley & Co. for $372,424.

 Award bid for one roll-off refuse truck for the Public Works Department to Roy Conley & Co. for $72,421.

 Authorize city manager to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA to repair/reconstruct existing sewer lines in older sections of Lawrence for $396,710.

 Approve scanning agreement with Word-Tech Business Systems for $20,042 for the Legal and Administrative Services departments.

Adopt on second and final reading the following ordinances:

 Establishing the quorum of the Lawrence City Commission at four members effective March 31.

 Establishing stop signs on Westbrooke Circle at Westbrooke Street and on Petefish Drive at Westbrooke Street, all on Kansas University property.

Accept dedication of easements and rights-of-way on the following plats:

 Final plat of Riverside Business Park is a seven-lot industrial subdivision containing approximately 38.695 acres. The property is located on North Iowa Street east of the K-Mart Distribution Center. Submitted by Bartlett & West Engineers Inc. for Charles Arthur Jr., property owner of record.

 Final plat of Ferpen addition is a replat of lots 103, 104, 105, 111 and 112, in North Lawrence Addition No. 2. This one-lot industrial subdivision contains approximately 1.067 acres. The property is located in the 100 block of Perry Street. Submitted by Landplan Engineering for Dean Penny, property owner of record.
