Protected?

A federal government study released just last year could find little to no conclusive proof that condoms protect against the vast majority of STDs. The report, titled, “Scientific Evidence on Condom Effectiveness for Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention,” was issued or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.

This report states no clinical proof of condom effectiveness in preventing: gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, chancroid, syphilis, genital herpes, and human papilloma virus HPV just to mention a few. Ms. Reid, this doesn’t sound like condoms “provide protection from MOST sexually transmitted diseases.” Our youth deserve the TRUTH.
