It is an old truism of a democratic government, one that used to be taught in every high school civics class. In a democracy, the people get what they vote for  or in many cases did not bother to vote for or against.

The actions and agendas of ECO2 have very serious consequences for the future of Douglas County. Voters who pay no attention or who do not bother to learn the issues and vote accordingly will be saddled with some very restrictive land use in the future.
