She was born Jan. 17, 1932, in Hartington, Neb., the daughter of Clarence and Anna Marie (Strom) Foulk. She attended Hartington, Neb., public schools. She had lived in the Perry area since 1964, moving from Manhattan.

Mrs. Roosendaal was a homemaker. She attended Williamstown Assembly of God Church.

She married Vern Richard Roosendaal on Oct. 22, 1948, in Hartington, Neb. He died June 28, 1990.

Survivors include a son, John R. Roosendaal, Meriden; a daughter, Sharon K. Tenpenny, Perry; a sister, Irene Prince, Apex, N.C.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
