BEAVERTON, ORE. ? Bob Glass, of Lawrence, had a nine-game pinfall total of 1,946 and was in 12th place Monday after the first round of the PBA Senior Northwest Classic.

Glass is trying to make the cut on the eighth and final stop of the tour after failing to do so for the first time in his career the past two weeks.

Steve Neff, of Homosassa Springs, Fla., was leading after Round One with a total of 2,200. Thomas Carbone, of Arvada, Colo., was second with 2,068, and Henry Gonzalez, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was third at 2,057.
