Leeson services

? Graveside services for Dennis Clay Leeson, 55, Winchester, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Plum Grove Cemetery, northeast of Oskaloosa.

Mr. Leeson died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

He was born Jan. 7, 1947, in Fort Sill, Okla., the son of Clay B. and Wilda L. (Iseminger) Leeson. He was a 1964 graduate for Washington High School, Kansas City, Kan. He had lived in Winchester for 29 years, moving from Kansas City, Kan.

Mr. Leeson was a carpenter and had worked at Commanche Construction Co., Olathe, for 28 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local No. 168, Kansas City, Kan.

He married Jeannie W. Nehrbass on June 3, 1995, in Winchester. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael C., Basehor, and Denny James, Oskaloosa; two stepdaughters, Amber Nehrbass, Winchester, and Brandi Nehrbass, Meriden; his parents, Branson, Mo.; two brothers, Brad, Kansas City, Kan., and John, Springfield, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, where family and friends will gather to form a procession to the cemetery.
