Letterkenny, Ireland ? Two men were killed and three others injured Friday when a rally car drove into a crowd of spectators in northwest Ireland.

The car had just crossed a bridge when it hit bystanders during the first day of the Donegal Rally. Spectators said the road was slick from several afternoon rain showers.

Police said two race marshals were declared dead at the scene near the village of Cloghan.
